Drum Clamp
Drum Clamps - Forklifts are used to handle lifting, storing and moving pallets. For companies which deal with items in drums, you must use an attachment so as to move, lift and store them. There are numerous drum forklift attachments that you can obtain for all your drum storing, moving and lifting requirements. These attachments are particularly meant to deal with drum containers - thus there is no chance of damage to the product or drum container when they are stored, moved or lifted.
Drum Positioner And Grab
The drum positioner is available in three or four tine designs. They are used for the loading and unloading of drums off drum stands, racks and vehicles. This attachment is completely mechanical, hence enabling the individual operating it to operate all from the comfort of the forklift seat. Able to move steel, large and extra large plastic drums, its capacity is 210 liters. This particular accessory is used for drum pyramid stacking.

The Rotator
The drum rotator is another lift truck accessory that mounts onto the forks themselves. Their objective is to be able to lift the drum and turn it upside down. The drum is clasped into the drum rotator with a clamp that fits around the middle of the drum. The rotation is executed by either a continuous loop chain or a crank handle. The crank handle is utilized for operations that take place beneath shoulder level. For operations that should occur over shoulder level, the continual loop chain will be utilized.
The drum tines are simple fork or carriage mounted accessories. They are meant for stacking and unstacking 210-liter steel drums. Stacking involves nothing fancy, only simple horizontal positioning of the drums. The carriage-mounted attachments lessen the load center of the drums.
Automatic Tongs
Drum tongs come in automatic and semi-automatic versions. They are used in the tight head or open topped steel drum styles. The drum tongs could be attached in several ways to the lift truck. One way is to attach them under a fork-mounted hook. Another way is to attach them to a fork-mounted jib or a carriage mounted jib. Both the automatic and semi-automatic have a drum capacity of 210 liters. With the automatic, there is no need for the person operating it to ever leave the seat of the lift truck.
Rim Grip Handler
When drums require storage with limited spacing obtainable, the Rim Grip Drum Handler is the best option in drum forklift accessories. This accessory will work for either the two hundred ten liter drums along with one hundred twenty liter drums. The Rim Grip Handler functions by using metal jaws to grab the rim of the drum. It picks the drum up and puts it down without requiring any space between all of the drums. The average model used in the trade is a zinc-plated handler, even though, this particular accessory comes obtainable in stainless steel for the food and drink market.
